  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

any elegant mushroom knife recommended?

I got a Opinel mushroom knife with a brush on it and i just don't use it as much as my other knives... i carry a old shaving brush in my pack and find it more useful when needed. The brush is used mostly to prevent a lot of dirt in the bottom of your basket, you can also just cut the mushroom, bring it back to your home and clean it once there.

I really love a small fixed blade like this small puukko, i clip it to my backpack strap, faster to use

There are the other knives i use the most... i could also be any knife in the collection

Appreciate all the inputs and photos!!!👍

I am a mushroom knife collector. I have everything from an old Soviet knife a peasant babushka might have used to collect mushrooms 75 years ago, to custom knives made by the finest craftsmen in Europe and costing up to a thousand euro.

Here is a matched set, puukko plus sieniveitsi (mushroom knife) in a kaksoistuppi (double sheath) by Jukka Hankala, who is one of the dozen or so master knifesmiths recognized by the Finnish government.
