Do you plan on releasing these models at the SHOT show? I heard from a pretty good source that the blade shape on the drop/spear point folder will be a lot like the model MT blade. I would also be interested in the smaller models. I have the custom drop point, and would love to have one of the bucks to accompany it.

TIA

BH,
I heard that some of the mini's have already been shipped. All the others will be intorduced at the SHOT show. In the 2001 catalogue, it does not show a mini Strider with a drop point blade but it is planned for this year.

Mick, You of all people have seen it? When will us normal people see it. Where's that package you promised me?

The story is that every time we introduce a new Strider/Buck, the first 500 will be in BG-42 and will be etched first production run.
I'm glad Mick thought it was cool!

. I hope that they are out soon, the Mini really interests me, since I have a full size custom Strider folder w/ a drop point blade. If the full size is out first, I would take that though. I've owned the tanto, and thought it's a very stout knife, it didn't fit my utilitarian needs. I must say though that I'm hooked on striders, both custom and the buck versions.

Joe, how about a pic? Thanks!

Now if I can just get one in a satin finish, or better yet stonewashed

What are the dimensions of the clip point buck strider? Does it have a longer blade than the tanto? How much will it cost?

Anyone have more info on the mini strider?
Like blade combos, dimensions, photos?
And will it have the same style thumb stud as the regular strider?

The New 880 folder with drop point blade has a 4" blade, is 5 3/8" closed and should be out this quarter. The new 881 mini folder will have a tanto blade of 3" and is 4" closed. We have already been shipping these. The drop point version, (not shown in our catalogue) is planned for the second half of this year.
Hope this helps,
