Anyone have any experience w never mind Can’t see feedback so just wondering.

Do not deal w the member crowmagnon he has apparently been hacked. I paid half upfront like an idiot for a scarab ii gen ii and apparently member never chatted via email w me but someone answered through email w his name a avatar pic.
 
Dallas T Dallas T you should use the search function to search your email address, as it’s possible that you’ve posted it here somewhere. I did find your address in your profile posts. So you should delete that one and any others you can find. Edit: I found 14 other posts with your email.

Also consider changing your second post on this thread warning people not to deal with Crowmagnon because it looks like they played no part in this. There are warnings at the top of the exchange areas warning about this specific type of scam. May have been avoided by using PM’s here instead of emails.

Understand but what is weird is how they only responded to me after o pm’d memboon here. Even though they responded via email it wasn’t until i initially reached out. That’s why i rolled the dice
 
Apparently not, but they responded w his name and only responded to me via email after I messaged crowmagnon on bladeforums. So i thought it was just responding through email instead of through the forum, i figured was just notified him and replied that way 🤷‍♂️.
 
Really got me w the pics n info, and if you look him up on Facebook it’s him and his wife’s email bane tracks w her facebook name lol. Idk i was duped on this one i guess.

So here’s the original direct message to member, then recently after i was emailed but not through here, so how would a scammer see my direct message to this member?
 
Why would you go from the conversation via PM / DM to email? Are there any other replies to the PM / DM conversation?

Looks like you, like several others in the past weeks and months, fell prey to the same scam.

I don’t believe the member was involved honestly, and no he responded to actual bf pm i just assumed he saw the message via email through bladeforum. I didn’t think someone could respond with email through a direct message on bladeforum. I don’t think crowmagnon himself was involved. Just wanted to bring to attention he might be compromised
 
If you read the other threads here in Feedback from others who were taken in the same manner, it will become clear to you how it works.

It's unfortunate that you were taken, but in the end, some more vigilance on your part might have prevented this from occurring.

There's nothing further to be gained by continuing here, since it's now clear what has transpired.
