Thank you I bought a dragonfly salt something about it seems fake possibly. About to order another from them possibly the location gets me it next day and cheap

I would be worried about the name sassy420. I think people nowadays use 420 to reference that they like to smoke pot.
Someone that needs to have a username bragging about the fact that they smoke pot is someone I most likely would not do business with.
thats just me though, they could be a great seller.

I've bought a few different knives from Ebay before. One was a $1,200 Marfione.. Another was a $500 Sebenza..

There are some very reputable dealers that only sell on Ebay. There are 2 main things to check before making a purchase. 1) What is their feedback rating and how many items or knives have they sold in the past? You probably shouldn't buy from someone with less than 20 previous positive sales. 2) What is their return policy? They had better be willing to take it back if it's defective in any way.

If both of those criteria are met, it should be pretty safe. If they have a return policy and the blade is fake. Send it back. If they refuse, Ebay will step in and refund your money with their buyer protection program.

I also bought a $3,000 watch at a serious discount. The seller seemed "alright". The chronograph didn't work. I sent an inter-ebay message. The dude really didn't want it back. Ebay monitored the whole thing very diligently and sent me an Ebay email saying they were watching. After a day of stressing about it, the seller did indeed take it back. He was clearly aware that Ebay was watching everything...

Also had a coworker who bough a $1,500 camera that never showed up. Ebay did indeed refund his money from their purchase protection program.. My own experience has shown "me" that Ebay is pretty safe.. Others may certainly disagree..

Besides all of that.. Do you have a link to share? I can't find the seller you referred to.

Are you sure it's "sassy" and not "sasy"? I just found a sasy420 both on ebay and with a website. There are spydercos in their ebay store as well as sunglasses and other stuff. I don't personally know anything about them, btw.

Yes your right

I just checked out your link. And HELL YES, I'd order from that seller. Buy Now!! lol.

Their feedback rating is an incredible 99.7% with 65,000 prior sales/transactions. That is as safe as safe gets. And... they have a 14 day return policy. This is as good of a seller as you can find on Ebay.

P.S. Worst case scenario. Order it, post pics here on BF and ask all of the Spyderco nuts to verify if it's real. I guarantee it is... But if somehow it's not, simply send it back and get a full refund.

I ordered the dragonfly salt something about it feels wierd like sharp edges on the grips and blade and backlock that my other knives I don't think have the color is right and the box is right though.

Well Done!!

It takes a couple of purchases from Ebay to feel more confident about it. Honestly, I feel MORE confident now buying from Ebay than other smaller, obscure websites because at least Ebay has the buyer protection program, so you're pretty much covered from getting screwed.

That's not to say though.. that there aren't plenty of bad guys selling junk trying to steal your money on Ebay..

I hope it all works out for you and you saved some of your hard earned cash by purchasing on Ebay.
