Any experience with the Salient Arms BLK knife?

I remember when this particular hunk of junk surfaced on IG, and I called them on it they responded by saying the major cost of the knife is from the "PVD" coating they use on the knife. What they use is not the good PVD for knives you want Chromium Nitrate PVD as it is incredibly strong and hard they could not even tell me what type of PVD they used in the knife.

Basically the entire Salient company is proof people are suckers, if you want a good EDC fixed blade I recommend Mick Strider Custom SLCC that features the good PVD coating and a halfway decent sheath for what the knife is designed for priced at $325 well below the $500 of the Salient knife.

Another good option would be the Strider SA or DB models very small easy to carry handy knives and Strider has some of the best steel and heat treat in the business.
