Any experience with the white river caper?

So I've been carrying a fixed blade regularly. I wanted something a little more edc/people friendly for certain occasions. I typically carry my Bowen or other para cord handled fixed blade horizontally on my belt. I like the slim profile. So I'm interested in the white river caper. And wondering how thick the handle scales are and how it would effect the way I like to carry.(i.e. Maybe stick out and show more under my t shirt. But I wouldn't mind the added comfort in use of the scales. So I'm wondering if I should try the caper or just stick to the usual and get their backpacker model? Any thoughts.

I have their backpacker and love it. The caper and backpacker are the same knife, one with scales and one with paracord. I changed the cordwrap on mine and made my own sheath for it. Its a very ergonomic design and the chose a thin enough stock to actually be a good cutter. I think its a steal at $90. Here are some pics.

I'm getting one or the other just didn't know how thick the scales are on the caper. And how that would effect how I carry it. Or how comfortable they would be over the para cord in actual use.

I have the backpacker and put ESEE Izula II handle scales on it (yes they fit but it looks weird). I carry it in a Lonewolf fixed blade sheath horizontally. Perfect size and extremely comfortable to use. I need to take a pic, but always forget.

I think it would be a perfect EDC. I got a caper for my son and he dressed a whole elk with it. The handles will definitely be more comfortable for extended usage. I measured the handle and they are 5/8's of an inch wide. I don't think it is thick enough to affect the carry and show through your shirt. I will try to post pictures later

We sell them and have not once gotten a complaint. Great fixed blade for everyday carry. The handles at the back are just under half and inch thick and at its widest point on the side they are just under 1 inch. I think you will be very pleased with the quality of the knife and the sheath set up should work for you. If you want any pics with other knives just let me know!

While I don't own one, I very recently held on in my local knife shop and I have to say, I was EXTREMELY impressed with the ergos on the Caper. So yeah, it seems like a great little EDC that I'm considering buying myself!!!
