Sorry to resurect this thread, but it seemed like the right place to ask.
So, has anyone bought one of these folders? I haven't managed to find anything further about them in the Forums. I bought one this passed June and am mostly happy with it, it cuts better than my large Seb, and is easier on the hand too.
My only query is the blade play. I don't know much about folders, I have a couple lock backs and the Seb. I can wobble the RRF blade tip 0.050" from side to side. Tightening everything up brought that down from about 0.075, but didn’t get rid of it altogether. Compared to the Sebenza the bush contact is much smaller and I was wondering if that was the cause.
Anyone else find this?
Anyone got a suggestion for reducing it?
I can live with it okay, but it would be nice if it was as solid as the Seb, other than that wobble I like it better!
