To me the Extrema Ratio heavy folder line of knives is among the best there is to get in tactical folders.

Tough, simple, strong, big knives with thick blades.

Anyone else fancy Extrema Ratio folders or perhaps fixed blades? Please ad your pics to make this a great topic.

I Realy hope to see some of your Extrema Ratio's. Fixed blades also very welcome!

Not I, they just look a little too mall ninja for me. I prefer regular drop point blades that attract lessa ttention in my work environment. The MPC looks ok though.

They look futuristic, and I've heard they're well made. But they just don't seem practical. I think their double edged dagger looks beautiful, but again, aside from stabbing, what would I use it for? I wouldn't mind playing around with an ER knife, I just don't think I will ever buy one. Different strokes, and all that...

I have the Nemesis and the MPC. They are the same knife except the back of the Nemesis blade is in line with the handle, and the MPC, with the top of the guard. The MPC also has a short serrated section, but in so long a blade, that still leaves a lot of working plain edge.

I also picked up one of their mini folders, a BA-1. Neat little liner lock.

What I would like is the Dark Talon.

marketing rules here
bad quality, bad steel poor performance and hard to sharpen,
oh and VERY expensive for what they really are, even for an italian knife and we have costly ones here

they are not used and given to our military or SF as stated, at the italian MCKF forum we tested some ERs and N690 and it did not perfom, some forumited that are in LEO and military got informaed about supply for the military and did not have any successful answer

for me ZT, kershaw and others (of those I have and have used) are much better, overall, maybe not ninja super marketing kool...

I don't want to hurt anybody, buy and use what ya like! cheers from italy

I can't imagine why they gave you such bad quality, bad steel poor performance and hard to sharpen knives. Nothing wrong with the N690 here, and that clumsily thick Nemesis blade ... took a nice edge very quickly, and held it.

n690 has been easy for me to sharpen & takes a super fine edge. thanks to wouter for great pics & certainly like the dark talon mentioned by esav.

I guarantee you, I did not pay even close to MSRP or even normal street value on mine.
Patience, patience, watch the Exchange forums, get on dealers' specials lists.
