Are you going to be scammed or ripped off by Chicago Knifeworks? Probably not. Should you pick a more reputable dealer? Certainly yes.
I just purchased a FOBOS Tier 1 C from Chicago Knifeworks. My knife arrived promptly at my home in Montreal as promised without a hitch. Initially there was a question from the company about the spelling of my home address (a common occurrence as it is a complicated French name unfamiliar to Anglophones). The owner of the company called me to verify. We had a 15 minute conversation about knives - he is knowledgeable, frank and has great people skills. I would not hesitate to order from them again
