Any folding knife makers near Dallas?

I've been lurking this part of the forum for a long time, since before I had this account, and I feel like I'm still afraid to jump in to knife making by myself. Also, I don't really have the right tools. Are there any knife makers near Dallas who make folding knives I could meet up with and learn from? I'd bring my own materials and everything, I wouldn't want to waste yours. Thanks, guys.
