Hello all,
I've had several people ask me to make kitchen and cheese knives for them. I typically make my handles out of wood and treat with tru-oil but I've heard that tru-oil isn't food safe. Even though the knife handles shouldn't be making contact with the food I'd like to avoid the worry all together. That being said, has anyone worked with a food safe oil finish that works well on a knife handle? I've heard that the superglue/CA finish is food safe but I'm skeptical of that one.
