  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

any fountain pen users?

I have a few Lamy, Monteverdi, Kaweco, Pilot, and Cross . Nothing expensive, I love them . I don't write enough to do them justice. I usually carry a Fisher bullet space pen

I enjoy using fountain pens. I used to use my Omas paragon exclusively until I needed it repaired and I realised they had gone defunct .
Since then, I was debating between an Aurora or a Nakaya (sp) as a replacement . Ended up going with the Nakaya and have been very happy .

Here's one of my favorites, a Stipula Etruria Fiesole, which I had to sell to help fund a pups surgery a few years ago.....but I do have other pens...pics to follow.

I do enjoy writing with a fountain pen. Nothing expensive, I own a couple of Lamy Safari pens. They write well enough for me. One of the announcers at my regular radio station has a Mont Blanc he got at an auction for......$60 Australian. Thats probably about $48 US.

I am surprised at how many of you use fountain pens. I went to a private school growing up and we had to use them. The teachers felt that we would have better penmanship with a fountain pen.

Right now I only have a couple.
A Waterman with a 14k nib and a cheap Parker Vector. Both are tucked away somewhere but, it might be kinda fun to dig them out.

Conrad....yes it is ....circa 1953. Here's another with a Lamy 2K and a Stipula Saturno. This particular 51 is a blue diamond vac 1944.
