Good suggestion, but I'm not looking for a liner lock

Thanks,
JTR, I realize that you've stated you don't want a liner lock, but I'd have to second the Spyderco Military suggestion. Is it a general distrust of a liner lock's ability to hold? I know many people feel that way. I don't want this to devolve into a "which lock is the best/worst" hijack, that's not my intent. But if that is the reason, search some of Yablanowitz's posts on the Millies he uses. He beats the snot out of them on a daily basis (cutting drywall, plaster, hoses, and more) and I believe he hasn't had a lock failure yet.
Hope this helps.

Rik,Thanks for the millie suggestion.I have no doubt the liner lock is like a vault...from what I've read.
I own quite a few ll's.Frankly,I'm just getting bored with them & would prefer a framelock,backlock,or a axis/arc lock.

Regards,

[edited too add] BTW,If I was going to get a Military it would be in the S90V  :D ;)
