Just wondering if there are any good knives with blades under 2 inches. Preferably under $30?

I'm not sure of the exact measurements or prices, but these should be in the ballpark:

Spyderco Bug or Honeybee
CRKT Ashworth Turtle
Opinel #2
QuietCarry Bandit

My favorites would be the Turtle or Bandit, for aesthetics, quality, and locking blades.

Spyderco LadyBug has a 1.94" blade and comes in a variety of colors but it's $36.

Cold steel micro recon 1
Spyderco ladybug
Boker subcom/keycom/dw1/dw2
Sanrenmu 605/6040
Kershaw ember

Cold Steel Mini Tuff Lite. Seriously, even if you're a Cold Steel hater, these knives are amazing. I have all the small Spyderco models and FWIW, I prefer the Tuff Lite and Tuff Lite mini to all of them.

Amazing little knives. Four of them pictured here, including two that I have bulked up with paracord and grip tape to make them dedicated carving knives:

You can easily find them for less than $30, and the small can even be had in other colors (green, pink, orange). Great knives for actual hard use, too:

Boker Wharcom
Victorinox Classics in ton of scale colors and the Rally. *Doh Hickory got here first*

Both already mentioned and both about $35ish, but i second the spyderco ladybug and boker subcom. Both much more comfortable and capable then they appear.

The Cold Steel Tuff Lite and Mini Tuff Life are excellent and can be found below $20 sometimes. The Mini has been discontinued so you better snatch one up. I bought one on a whim and I was completely taken by surprise at how good of a knife the Mini is.

Cold Steel also makes the Micro Recon. These are below $30 and are little tanks.

victorinox rambler or classic. Even in the most knife unfriendly places like schools, amusement parks, etc. No one looks twice at these little guys.

I also typically dislike Cold Steel, but this knife has proven surprisingly useful.
