Any Holiday Tins this year????

If Walmart or any of the other big box stores are going to have any special runs this year the folks at Buck must know so, IS THERE ANY !?!? Let me know wheter the search should start or not!;)
 
There have been some REALLY incredible 'clearance' deals of past Christmas WM 110's...The lowest I remember was $7.00 and change for a brand new USA made 110..A few 112 'Tin' sets [2007-2008???] Went as low as $12.00 to $15.00...It got a lot of folks from the Forum calling and going into ALL the WM's both near AND far to find them!
 
Sweet! Not a huge fan of Dick's but will make the trip there to check out the 110 tin and will watch for the Walmart offering as well (hope it's US made).

Cool beans! Christmas just got a little better for me:D

At the SMKW meeting in August, I talked to the Buck sales rep and he was very excited about the 110 tin for Dick's. I asked if they are going to have a Wal Mart tin and he said yes. I was a little surprised since they didn't have one last year. Then I asked if it will be made in the US and he said it will be made overseas. So, the Wal Mart tin most likely will most likely be made in China. So, I am not too excited about the Wal Mart tin.:rolleyes:
 
The onkt bad thing with Dicks is their knife prices tend to be on the high side. The Boone and Crocket 110 was $40 ( I got it on sale for 30). They do not often mark down knives, so I don't think you will see any $7 ones from them....

I think it started here in the Pittsburgh area and Terry Bradshaw owns a piece of it.

Looks like I wont buy a Wal-mart tin this year... :grumpy: ...

I hope to get a 110 if we have a Dicks around here... :thumbup: ...

My good friend in Oklahoma is going to be watching for the tins for me,she gets me the tins every year for christmas,gosh i love that girl!
