Any Holiday Tins this year????

I was told that the Dick's in CA won't carry any knives... I been to two of them and they have NO knives at all... That's not good for me... But I can order on line... That's More Money... Does anyone have any pics of this 110... Thanks ... ITE ...
Why would a sporting goods store not carry knives? I went to thier online store but didn't see the Holiday 110.:(

They have had them out for a few weeks in NY. There are nice but I am not as excited by them as I was by some of the Walmart ones of days gone by. I think they are going for $39.99 now, but last year they went on sale for $29.99 during the holidays.

I saw em at the mart last night. Nice lookin little set. Might be a good set for my daughter. I already have a 373 and the 379 is just too small for me.

Unless of couse I give her the 373 and keep the 379 just so I have one:) Man this Buck fever makes you think odd things dont it?;)

They are at our local Dick`s now, my wife bought me one, but I don`t get it untill Christmas.

Just got back from Dick's and I did not buy one. I looked at it, but choose to hold off for now. They are $39.99.

was at a local walmart yesterday (2 actually), and they had buck gift tins, with 2 traditional knives in them. one knife a 2 blade, the other a 3.

Hi All,

I also got to see the new holiday tins at Wallyworld in Carson city, NV. The one thing that caught my eye was the bolsters are brass....the brass & wood looks nice. They are in a blister pack and it did not show if these were USA or China made.....anyone who bought a set care to post some photo's?

Has anyone heard if Bass Pro is putting out a special this year? The "rumor mill" thru my buddy said he had heard that Mr. Johnny Morris & Buck had something coming out. I have not heard nor could find anything on the 'net to verify, & of course, everyone @ BPS knows nothing either . . . ;)
Be safe.

The ones at Dicks did not go on sale as thought and are still $40 each. I am waiting to get one. The Walmart ones are China made as far as I can see, but I did not buy them either....

Yeah, the Wally world double slipjoint tin are made in China knives. I saw the 110 tin at Dicks, but will wait until the Christmas clearance to pick one up. Thought I read that they drop the price on those considerably after Christmas, but I could be wrong.

Just got back from Dick's. They actually had two versions of the B&C tins. One had a 2009 blade stamp, the other a 2010 blade stamp. Both looked pretty much alike, the engraved blade B&C club logo was centered on the 2009 version, right justified on the 2010. So there is at least a series of two.

Yeah I broke down and got the 2010 one at Dicks today. ( I cant post pics as I have never been able too ). I had a $10 coupon and a $10 loyality gift card from them, so I got it for $20. Dicks does not mark these down like Wally World does, so I would not wait too long if you really want one...

I picked through about ten to get the handles I liked best, but I don't plan on opening it anyway.....

Funny, when Walmart had these tins at a better price ( the 110s and 112s) we had a active post going on it. I guess Dicks version has not spurred too much interest. I know I only got one myself....

I got mine when they were on sale(about same as what wally wants) usually Dicks is at least $10 higher on similar items. I had to check several, the blade printing wasnt stellar on a few.

I picked up a tinatWalMart containing the 373 and 379 for my father-in-law (the Colonel)
they look good . I don't have a Dick's anywhere near me . Do they offer those online somewhere ? I'd like one of those . DM

Went to a Dicks about 60 miles from the house. They had one 110 tin left. If you are waiting for them to go on sale keep a close eye on how many are left on the shelf.

I went ahead and ordered one from Dick's as a Forum buddy 'Tony' told me they were about out near him . I liked the looks of the tin and I'll let you know more when it arrives . DM
