Any idea what this fixed blade might be?

I've had this knife for so long, I don't even know where it came from.
There are no distinguishing marks on it to provide even the tiniest clue as to what it is.

I'm wondering if there are any characteristics (pommel shape, blade shape, etc.) that someone might recognize as coming from a certain mfgr?
It's a crazy long shot, but I figured "why not?"; there's a ton of knowledge and experience on tap here and I might learn something new.

It looks like some sorta old Marbles Hunter/field knife... No stamp on the ricasso area?...

Could be an older Marble's Woodcraft, with the swedge ground down.

Washer colors and pommel shape match...

OK, so I think I'd like to restore this knife back to some semblance of beauty.
I've scanned the forums and see that there are a plenty of knifemakers (companies and independents) and plenty of manufacturers, but am wondering where to look for someone who could do the restoration?

I'm sure I could get the parts with enough research, but would very likely destroy the knife (pommel) trying to take it apart and probably would be too OCD to ever be happy with he results when I put it back together.

Any suggestions?

I don't think it looks anything like that Cardinal, and Cardinal knives had tang stamps.

One guess, it could be a Kinsfolk knife since they were made and sold with blade etches instead of tang stamps, blade etches that have worn off over time. You'd have to hunt through old catalogs to find the exact model.
