Any info on the upcoming GEC Lumber Jack pattern?

Maybe those of you who've handled a Whaler can enlighten me on your experience in regards to the following. Whenever I look at that pattern it's hard to see the secondary blade being much fun to use, regardless of which end it's at, because the main blade is so broad. Some sunfish I've tried come up to the limit of what I'd accept in terms of encroachment of a closed blade in the hand but the Whaler is a step or two beyond that. I've got no problem with the big blade itself. I like the fact that GEC is putting out something along those lines. I just can't get to the point of buying into having a secondary blade on there too.

That little secondary blade isn't of much use and its in the way when its closed. Its kind of like your appendix- its a small bit that you don't use and you are better off without it. Thats why I think the single blade model is a much better design.
