Any interest in a more traditional style Bowie from HI?

Ya know, while we're on the subject of what the kamis could try next, I have one idea that's been bouncing in the dusty corners of my crainium for some time. How about a Khanjar? That's one design I've personally become facinated with, and I don't know of anyone making them (more than one at a time, anyway). It was known through the middle east and into India, so it's not quite as Americanized, and this example seems to have a couple construction traits in common with our beloved khukris:

Though I'm naturally more drawn to the bigger examples, there was of course a wide range of design, such as this bowie-esque one:

Or with the traditional pistol grip butt:

I like it too.
Some ideas are so persuasive, they simply take hold.

Interesting- the resistance to the Kamis trying (or should I say bungling? LOL- to some) new ideas. Ah, let them try. It's fun, and they are often successful, if not in exact detail, still a tool of merit. We wouldn't have an AK Bowie or a JKM if we'd been too cautious. Sure, some of the first attempts will not be as refined. (and some are) But the Kamis get better with practise on any new design.

The interaction is great.
