Any interest in doing a "Finish Wars" testing thread?
Awhile back we did a Glue Wars test in the Makers section and it was very informative. If there is enough response we can do it here as well.
Putting various Coatings and finishes to a Real World test
IE:
Ceracoat
Guncote
Rustoleum Hammered or Rust Cap
Epoxy appliance paint
And on and on and on maybe Ti-Nitride at the end

Have a chopper used for mainly yard work that is made of S5 Carbon steel.
Will make it so the handle is removable to do each test and for ease of coating application.
Rusty now but I can fix that.

Have three finishes at the shop we can start out with.
I can donate the time effort and pictorial as it progresses....
