Any Jess Horn FRN fans?

I keep kicking myself for missing these when SMKW was closing them out <$30.

Why do I never hear mention of this model? It seems to be nice & slim, like a lighter weight Rookie (which I have & love in G10).
 
I love mine- used to carry it in my shaving kit when traveling- went through bunches of airport x-ray machines (explains the odd green glow) without raising an eyebrow. It's a great little knife- been considering one of the Micarta models.

I have a micarta model. I actually bought it from Jess Horn's site several years ago. He's very pleasant to talk to. It's one of the sharpest blades that I own. I like the design and the thin blade. I don't carry it because I don't want to mess up the fine tip. Also, and more importantly, the notch for the front lock is exposed when the knife is closed and tends to catch on things. If you can pick one up cheap, I think it's worth it (it's worth picking even if it's not that cheap).

The sharpest knife I ever had out of the box. Gave it to a buddy as his first real knife.
