  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Any John Wick fans?

The first one in particular was a GREAT flick. I initially paid it no attention, and missed it in the theater. Then I saw it...whoa, one of the best action flicks ever. And KR is the real deal, with real trigger skills...benefits of unlimited gear/ammo budget, world-class instruction, and a private range. Looks like Chris Pine is now following in his footsteps a bit as well. Imagine what might happen if more Hollywood types start admitting shooting is fun??

wouldn't wear a holster with his picture on it. I watcheded the movie. the first one, haven't seen part 2. as far as keano, watched some of his videos. pretty good you can tell he's not an actual competitor. a bit mechanical. spends too much time on target after the trigger. probably gets pretty good scores but not in the top 10 or top 20. I think maybe if he put in as much time shooting as he does acting probably move right up into the higher scores. Even unlimited ammo and training can only get you so far.
He is pretty good, but still an actor.
Just has to look like he can do it.

Watch some of Kyle lamb, or Cooley's videos, you'll see what I mean.

Great gun porn movies for sure. Some really cool Taran Tactical custom Glocks and other stuff.

Taran actually did the training with Reeves and the others. He got pretty good at it. I think he is actually into shooting and knives. I've seen him wearing an Emerson shirt before.

Here is a video of Reeves running some 3 gun during his training with Taran Tactical for a movie.

John Wick would use a pencil.

Who does that!?!

I've bought a couple hybrid holsters from an up and coming maker that offers dozens of different colors and patterns of kydex. I went with the cheapest, black on black because "concealed means concealed". It's one of those things that no one is going to see so getting a hot pink or "zombie green" isn't something I'd spend extra on.

If I were to get one with Keanu's face on it, it would be Johnny Mnemonic just for the "holy crap I forgot about that movie" reaction. :p

The kung fu instructors for Reeves during The Matrix also said he was very good at it, even had a bit of a natural flourish.

Not sure who this Mr. Wick thinks he is, but I'm pretty sure gun kata guy from Equilibrium had this stuff down years ago:

This one's pretty much for around the house. I may not even wear it, I just thought it would look cool. All of my concealment holsters are tan, black, or grey.

Neat holster.

Great movies! I can watch them over and over.

Probably the finest example of firearms handling on film.

There's actually a custom made, IWB holster that features Princess Luna on the front of it.

Redeeming the whole mess is the fact that Tavor rifles are being wielded by said moon pony with glee.

I've seen lots of Hello Kitty gun acessories.

So far haven't seen much of Sailor Moon, she's my favourite! <3

Can you imagine just how many heads can be screwed with by the existence of such? How many misconceptions are going to be challenged at the sight or something like that?

Is that the Cold Steel Safe Maker and Counter Tac 1 that I'm seeing in those pictures?

in the second film, John Wick carries a Mictrotech OTF, Cassian (bad guy) carries the Counter Tac, and another character the Safe Maker. Other knives (cold steel, Benchmade) appear in the film briefly
On the first movie John Wick also carries an OTF (pic)

, and the KaBar Large Tanto, the bad Russian guy uses a classic Italian stiletto.

Keanu is also a fan of Emerson knives, he's been seen wearing Emerson T-Shirts and uses two Emerson folders on his movie "Man Of Tai Chi"

Love the movies and think the franchise is probably the best there's been in my 24 years, but I'm not going to nerd out on merch and props...ect because that's just not something I do.
