any knife fans from new jersey?

I used to be in NJ. Now i'm in PA, about 20 minutes from Trenton. Which makers are you into? I like RJ Martin, Al Polkowski, JSP, Mad Dog, Crawford, Emerson just to name a few...

I am orignally from Jim Thorpe Pa. Been in NJ 18 months, finishing up my 20 yrs. in the Air Force. I have been collecting custom knives for almost 30 yrs. big fan of randall's, wayne hendrix, russ easler just to name a few. I think this blade forum is great. been a member for about a yr. my hobby's are knives, guns, and the great outdoors. do you know of any local gun or knife shows? take care, talk to you later. Al

Yeah, BF is a GREAT place to get educated, make new friends & find out a bunch of things that are going on in the industry. I found out about some local gun shows that are coming up. I got this info from the Glock talk forum:

March 18 & 19 Cortland, NY 120 tables National Guard Armory, I - 81 exit 12, Homer exit to Rt. 11 south, right on Wheeler Ave.

March 25 & 26 Scranton, Pa. 130 tables Quality Inn Hotel, I-81 exit 57, 3 miles east on Rt. 6 (Scranton/Carbondale Hiway).

April 1 & 2 Adams Center, NY 75 tables Adams Center Fire Dept. Community Building I - 81 exit 42, Rt 177 East, 1/2 mile on right.

April 8 & 9 Marshalls Creek, Pa. 110 tables Mountain Manor Inn, I - 80 exit 52, Rt. 209 north to Rt. 402 north, then 100 yds.& turn left at Y on Creek Rd.


April 15 & 16 Bloomsburg, Pa 200 tables Bloomsburg Fair Grounds, I - 80 exit 34, follow signs south to fairgrounds.

May 6 & 7 Harrisburg, Pa. Farm Show Complex, 1200 tables, BIGGEST SHOW IN THE EASTERN STATES - MORE THAN 375
EXHIBITORS almost more than you can see in one day, many folks stay overnight & have 2 days of entertainment - call for motel info. I - 81 exit 23 Cameron St. free parking !!
admission $6.00

I'm not from Jersey, but live in PA. I'm in UT right now for college coming home for the summer. SFDEFENDER, home is lehighton, just over the mountain from Jim Thorpe. Atilla, what town are you from? I love the makers you said, but finances hold me to factory models for now. I'd love to talk knives over the summer, email me sometime.
