Any knife makers in Iowa/Kansas City

I give up. I am butchering too many points and gouging too many bevels when trying to use a flat/straight belt on a curved bevel.

I would love to come spend few hours learning from someone willing to teach.

Woot! Going over Saturday AM to get some first hand learning! He seems like a nice guy who has been doing this for a while. Should be a good learning experience.
