Any knife makers in the Oklahoma City area?

I'm just getting started and I was wondering if anyone lives near me. I would like to take a look at your setup and maybe even get your opinions on techniques and such. I'll bring some good beer!
 
There are several of us around. you just missed a shop tour in the Bethany area on 39th .
 
Roy Miller is the owner of Roys Transmission Shop just East of the college and has his knife shop in the transmission shop
 
I was just about to ask about knife making instruction in OKC when I found this thread! I have no experience but am interested in learning. Does anyone know of any opportunity for instruction in the area? Thanks in advance.

Jerry McClure out of Norman on our member list does some instruction at times. you will need to get in touch with him concerning if he has any time to work with you.
 
+1 on Jerry. He is a great maker and does do instruction from time to time. Drop him a line. I am sure he would be happy to talk knives with you.
