Any knife shops near Lincoln, NH?

Wow! Welcome to my neighborhood!

Bad news, dude, no quality knife shops around here. The closest one that sells names like Spyderco, Benchmade, Bark River, etc., is Sawyer Knives in North Conway. They are off to the East over near Mt. Washington. You could google it, of course. The owner is a real "knife guy" with some very rare knives (like S90V Military), but he wants a little more than on-line prices, of course.

Sawyer Knives is pretty cool and the owner is awesome to talk knives with. Other than that, there's really nothing. Charlies Gun shop down the road from me in N. Woodstock has a few knives but nothing worth looking at and not very reasonably priced.

Wow, I may be in luck. Wifey and I are going up to hike Mt. Washington this weekend. I will definitely try to hit up Sawyer Knives.

It's worth the trip, lots of neat stuff. If you find yourself near Bradford, VT. Farm-Way is a good stop too.

And if you make it to North Conway, check out "The Moat" Great food and beer! I just came back from a canoe camping trip from there, Sawyer's was closed by the time we got in town though. Seams like every shop closes at 6pm over there...

It's a shame, never made it to Sawyers. We actually stayed on the street right across from it, but after our hiking trip the store was already closed. It was also closed on Sundays. On our way out we did hit this army barracks store on rt. 16 that had around 1500 knives. The top shelf of one of the cases was dedicated to autos. Benchmades, Bokers, CRKT, H&K, Gerber, S&W, etc. Wasn't that great of a selection, but at least I did get to play around with a couple knives. The shop was pretty busy, and the staff was helpful. Prices were decent on some knives.. i.e. they had a BM Lerch Impel 3150 (Satin PLN) for $100. Hopefully one day I'll get to a better knife shop.

If I may add to this. There is a smoke shop called headlines in the area that is a chain and should have a good selection.

I had several good experiences with White Mountain Knives in Barrington NH. Although it is no BladeHQ or MonkeyEdgeKnives, but is close and they always seem to have exactly what i am looking for and at very competitive prices. He has an ebay store as well. Definitely worth a look....
Below is there website, but i prefer browsing though his ebay store

I live in the MWV. The shop in New Hampton is owned by a cool couple. But the selection is mostly what you find at flea markets. Same goes for Headlines, mostly a head shop, and the Army Barracks, also in North Conway. Sawyer River is the only good knife shop in the area. The owner is the son of the late owner and is a great guy. Interesting to talk to, and very knowledgeable. They are not open late so google them for their hours.

The Army Barracks has a lot of crap, like Headlines, to cater to the naive and ineducable but they also have some really good stuff as well. I bought an Infidel and a couple other Benchmades, some BK&Ts, etc. at a fair price. Not only that but the staff is friendly and offer an MIL/LEO discount, if memory serves.
