Any knife stores in the Chicago area

Anyone know of any decent knife stores near Chicago? If u have ever been to grand prairie knives how does the selection compare?

Hey,been on this quest multiple times. Shore Galleries apparently has a nice selection (that is taking someone's word for it), and do sell autos... also Northwest Cutlery has a very limited Benchmade/Spyderco section. Where is the GP Knives?

Gp knives is in troy Illinois about 30 minutes from the arch, they also have a web site if you want to take a look just google gp knives

Near Chicago?

No.

Other than Walmart, Cabelas, etc...and those aren't very "near".

There really aren't, I think maybe cause of legislation.

Last time I was there in 2005 the Smoke and Gun in Waukegan has a pretty decent selection.

Course it's at least an hour North of the city but you get to see the wonderful sights of the Northern suburbs.

I recommend GPKNIVES in Troy, I visit there often, HUGE SELECTION!
