I'm a retired RN who would love to apprentice for a knifemaker trading my skills to help
with parents. I'm 43, male, unemcumbered license. I desire to learn bladesmithing. Dave C.

I would be of no help to the bladesmithing(stockremoval) and I am not in the marker for RN but it would help anyone who may be of assistance if you filled out where you are located. Also, this may be seen by more bladesmiths in the shoptalk section, and if I were you I would ask there... (if I am completely off track, I would be glad to change my post) best of luck!!

Would you be willing to just take my Father in Law? I'll show you how I make knives for as long as you want if you get him out of my house!

David,
As moderator in Shop Talk, I'll leave this thread open for the time being if you fill out your profile with all the info.

Shop Talk is not for business related questions, and offering services and trades is strictly verboten. Keep all the discussions about particulars by email or PM. Any of the forumites that are interested should contact David by email.....which I am sure he will enable or provide when he fills out his profile.

If you want to learn about Bladesmithing and Knifemaking, Shop Talk is a good place to be. Read the stickies, stick around and read the threads, and look up some of the folks near where you live ( which we will know when you fill out your profile).

Welcome to Bladeforums.
