any knifemakers in san antonio

i am a planing to attend warren wilson college in north carolina to be a part of their forge, and was hoping to get ahead of the game. I was wondering if there are any knife makers in san antonio willing to accept a student who has a love for the art of knife making a willingness to learn and has no problem with working for free on weekends in order to learn. I live in san antonio and knives are my passion, i have been fascinated by them since a very young age and want to be a knife-maker. i have limited experience at forging (made my first knife this week) but have made several through stock removal. thanks i realy hope i can make this happen.

I believe Johnny Stout and Alan Elishewitz are both up the road a bit in New Braunfels. I have no idea whether either would be interested but they might be able to point you to someone else in the area.
