Any leads on some cutlery Stainless .060"

I am not having any luck with the usual suspects. The Barron lists some but when you select it they show Out of Stock. I would love some CPM s35vn in .060. I could use 154 or s30 or AB-L or any other quality metals that are recommended. If anyone has any source for this thickness I'd appreciate it.

Try calling him, the list is not always accurate and he may have something else he has not listed. Just ring him.

You may wanna check out www.alphaknifesupply.com they usually have thin SS in stock. They almost always have thin AEB-L.

Thanks but the only thing I saw in that thickness there was Vanax.

I am making my prototypes out of 1074 and some 1095 but as they will see food tasks by non-knife folk I am looking for some quality SST

My next step would be to call both Alpha and Aldo. They may have some sheets laying around that they haven't had a chance to cut up yet. Good luck.

Alpha usually has a good inventory - if they don't have the thinkness you want then have it precision ground to what you want. It usually needs grinding anyway.

If I cannot find any steel in the thickness I am looking for I will get some thicker stock and EDM to size. Usually expensive I know, but I do have a machine that is not in use most of the time...

You absolutely need to call Aldo and Chuck. If you don't get the answer you want from whomever answers the phone, insist on leaving a message and do not rest until you speak to them directly. If neither of them have or can't get what you need, I would be very, very surprised.
