Any Lone Wolf Knife owners out there...

There are not too many of us out there. I had one person tell me that they were the most underrated knives. I would agree. Fine craftsmanship, great designs, and not too expensive. Im a cocobolo T2 owner and could not be more happy with it. Im a big guy and this thing fits my hand better than any other knife I have held, very comfortable. The blade stays hair shaving sharp even after hard use. Its also the only liner lock that I would approve of, I had mine sent back and reground so the lock fully engages(it touches the other side). Im also going to have custom brown canvis micarta scales made for mine because the wood is getting beat up. I think I am going to have to buy some more of their knives. Next will be a fixed loveless. Wonderful knives, they will catch on soon, and everyone will be crazy about them.

wade let us know where you get the custum scales made at. I dont (yet) own a lone wolf but the T2 coco or walnut is on my list.

I bought a LOBO, I liked so much thatI bought a second one, It's my edc.
Well made and not to large, very good knife.

I have a matching set of Loveless knives , the folder and fixed blade skinner. IMO they are both custom quality knives.

Here's a picture of the folder I have.

They are good looking knives, and all their work is custom quality. The T2's did have some quality control issues at first but I have not heard any more reports of that.

The guy doing my scales is Chase, he owns Chax knives here is the link

On the left side of the page click on the "custom jobs" tab and there is a photo gallery of all the knives he has customized. He does fine work.

Like I said, not too many of us out there. Lonewolf is the best kept secret in the knife community.

I have a CF Harsey T1 and it's my favorite EDC. It fits my hand perfectly, is comfortable to use, blade is sharp (tho I like to keep it a bit toothy), action is smooth, overall build quality is great ,and is priced lower than similar/equivalent offerings from other brands. One of my favorite things about my T1 is that it has one of the, if not the, longest blades and cutting edges for a 4" closed folder. It's shorter than the Delica I had with 1.5" more cutting edge and even more blade length.

I have a cocobolo T2 and I could not be more happy with it. I'd never heard of them until a recommendation from a friend put me on to them when I was looking for a replacement for my Buck/Strider 880 SP for EDC. I'm not a little guy (6' 5" and about 225lbs) and my hands are even bigger than my size suggests. The T2 feels "right". Not too bulky but big enough for me to get a proper hold of. It takes a wicked edge and keeps it well too. The lock-up is positive and (as far as I'm concerned) secure.
I still carry the 880 at work where I might have to do silly things with a knife that might ruin/break it, but whenever I'm shooting, fishing or bushcrafting you can safely bet that the T2 is in my front pocket ready for use whenever I need a damned good knife to hand.
Would I buy another ? Perhaps as a gift for a good friend, but for myself, probably not unless I manage to lose the one I have. After all, I can't see me wearing this one out in a hurry ! *LOL*

Wow, two Wade's in one topic, what are the odds? :) I have a T2 Cocobolo and I love it. I was lucky to get one of the earlier ones with all the titanium hardware so it makes for a nice light, warm feeling knife. I don't us it much because it's so nice looking I'm afraid to mess it up, but it slices like a laser. I'm also worried about the titanium liner lock wearing out, I hear the newer ones with stainless steel liners hold up better.

I didnt know that the new ones are stainless liners, mine is titanium. How would it wear out? Lose its spring?

Former lurker her that is now the proud new owner of a Lobo here. After reading many threads, I decided on this as the first new knife in a while. I feel I made the right choice and that I will be buying a few more folders real soon.

I have a T1, fit and finish are top notch. There are a couple other good threads up on Lone Wolf, you might want to search for them.

Great warranty too!

I have a Double Duty w/cocobolo handle and LOVE it. The s30v is awesome and holds a very good edge. The fit and finish and craftsmanship are second to none. The double action is very smooth and locks firmly into place. The auto feature fires like a rocket. I firmly support the double duty/lobo line of knives.

I have one of the older Coccobolo T-2's, had two of them actually and got rid of one. They are excellent folders that cut very well and carry even better.

Have a the small T1 in G-10 and larger T2 in Zytel. Great knives....love them both. My only complaint is that I prefer black clips. Don't show up in public as easily as the silver clips do.

Had problems with 2, of the T2 double action autos so I got a refund. Don't think that design is solid for an auto.

Regards

I have a CF T1. It was excellent, and it has a Bark River convex treatment now, making it even better!
