Any love for Kershaws?

I bought my Dad a Kershaw 1030, the fixed blade kin to your 1050, for his birthday back in mid 80's. He still has it proudly displayed in his study unused. I was really hoping he would use to replace his old Sharpfinger for hunting, but he thought it was too pretty to get dirty.

I've got a couple of the Moki made Kershaw 1993-2 that I am really fond of.

Brisket,

What model is that? Gotta get me one of them!

Thanks Frank it is a Japan made Kershaw. The model name is good buddy.
I have to agree that it does look very Gerberish.

And the opposite side of the tang reads Japan 2001.

jamestap - It is a 1993-2 that was a limited production model manufactured by Moki in Japan with black micarta handles and VG-10 steel. Moki is a highly regarded maker that also makes some production knives for Al Mar, Spyderco (Caly series) and others. It was a remake of the original 1993 knife that was similar but had bolsters. It is fairly large folder at 7.375" overall length opened and has a 3.125" blade. Great in-hand feel.
