Any love for poured epoxy handles?

I like making handle scales from "casting" epoxy. There are lots of pigments available and I have seen a few really wild color combinations. I'm learning how to blend colors but have only tried 2-color combos so far. Here's a few examples (please ignore the fingerprints and scratches. I'll take care of those later.)

Anyone have tips or pros/cons on using epoxy for handles?

Some can be very cool. There is maker who post occasionally who made some fixed blade knives with fishing lures in the clear epoxy. Sounds odd, but the outcome was cool

Those are very nice! I did something similar for a friend who's a retired LAPD cop. He had these small lapel pin badges he wanted in a handle.

One of the guys I work with, got into making knives. He's done some work with epoxy handles.

Kershaw Camp 10, rehandle.

He also has done some reverser handles, for locomotives.

I don't have the knife anymore. Here's a cropped version of the photo above. Maybe you can see more detail. The handle has one of the badges on each side.

Those are awesome! That first one looks like a scorpion or similar critter embedded.
