I know I love mine. One of the best blades ever IMHO. I just don't see much about them here, or anywhere on the inter webs. Only about 3 YouTube vids.

So I'm gonna try and add to the google image search results. LOL

I'd like a Tan E but I dunt need one.
You... need a Commander tho.

You just think you don't need one. You NEED an ETAK. Get an ETAK, get an ETAK now, you need one, really. :p

And I don't need a Commander. Now a steel dragon on the other hand...

Love the shape of the blade. Although I have the ZT0620, which has a very similar blade.

^^Yes and no. I have both and the ETAK-B is a nicer blade to me in both shape and performance. Still trying to figure out when I busted the tip on my 0620CF not to mention chipping the edge easily. Hasn't happen with my 0620 or 0630 yet but haven't carried those that much as I always grab a EKI Emerson for work.

I also have both, and there are differences. The ETACK blade is longer, narrower from cutting-edge to spine, has a narrower swedge, and a slight curve to the main cutting edge, whereas the main cutting edge on the 0620 is straight. The 0620 also has thicker blade stock. The 0620 is also noticeably heavier, and the handle of the Emerson fits my hand much better.

Differences aside, I love both knives.

0620 also has a frame lock and is easier on the wallet:D

^^Yes and no. 0620 is a framelock but I did pay $15.00 less for a NIB ETAK-B BT amongst other EKI models than I did for the 0620 or 0630. You just got to shop around and you'll come across good prices on Emersons.:)

I must be shopping at the wrong sites, where are you finding them cheaper than K Cntr.

If you are shopping for one from a Prestige dealer, then it'll be difficult to find a good deal on one. I am willing to step outside of that and shop in the exchange here on Blade forums, other forums or even on that auction site for my EKI's. There is nothing wrong with a LNIB pre-owned EKI knife. EKI will probably take care of it if there was a issue assuming that it hasn't been modified. EKI has the best customer service I have dealt with and heard of from others. More than half of what I have came from a individual or non dealer with no issues. Shop around.

Good God NO!

That handle is a monstrosity.

I can understand that. The handle isn't the prettiest nor the curviest but it is surprisingly comfortable to me. The knife in general is bulky in pocket and a little heavy (not compared to a 0620). I just keep hearing more about how this or that is so light in pocket and carries well but it's inhand performance that matters most to me.

I agree that how a knife feels in hand is more important than how it feels in the pocket. As ugly as the ETAK handle is it is very comfortable and secure in my hand. I have both the A and B blade versions but they don't get much carry so I guess I don't have a lot of love for them but that is just because I have other knives I like more.

Ok, your talking used. Yeah, I got my 0620 LNIB for $160 so I still stand by my original statement the 0620 is easier on the wallet.

^^I did buy my ETAK in new condition from a dealer on the bay for a good price like many new ones, just not from a Prestige dealer at regular price. He/she is a legit seller as there were multiple new ones in stock. There are also dealers that have sales on a regular basis. You just have to shop around.
