Any love for the ETAK?

Love the shape of the blade. Although I have the ZT0620, which has a very similar blade.

Ok, your talking used. Yeah, I got my 0620 LNIB for $160 so I still stand by my original statement the 0620 is easier on the wallet.

I buy my knives at a local brick and mortar store, they give me great prices. That being said, the prices for the cf m390 version of the 0620 (which I have) at the big online retailers is more than the ETAK at the same retailers.

Although, the ETAK (or any Emerson for that matter) is not exactly cheap.

I can understand that. The handle isn't the prettiest nor the curviest but it is surprisingly comfortable to me. The knife in general is bulky in pocket and a little heavy (not compared to a 0620). I just keep hearing more about how this or that is so light in pocket and carries well but it's inhand performance that matters most to me.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I happen to think the ETAK is a good looking knife. Handle and all. And said handle is actually one of the most comfortable I have ever used on a folder. YMMV.

I really like the shape of the blade, it appeals to me. However, I lack the experience to really say much more. The only thing that kind of threw me off was the end of the handle. Im sure its quite comfy in the hand though. nice pics by the way.

You just think you don't need one. You NEED an ETAK. Get an ETAK, get an ETAK now, you need one, really. :p

And I don't need a Commander. Now a steel dragon on the other hand...

Good looking blade. You need an UBR Commander now. LOL I have not cut myself yet....but keep coming close. LOL I have no hair left on my arms. LOL.

I have an ETAK in my pocket right now, it's been with me daily for the last 7 months almost to the date. I love everything anout the knife. If I had a bit more cash, I would buy another one.

^^That doesn't surprise me. It's a great knife, cuts like a demon and is comfortable with or without custom scales.

Bought an ETAK-A from Emerson when they were first released and its honestly one of my favorites. Need to pick up another eventually but thats a ways down the road.
