Any love for the Mora 510?

I saw the recent thread about how awesome the M2K is, but what about my personal favorite, the 510? Does anyone else use this as their "go to" woods knife? It's part of my "Nessmuk Trio", at least until my Farmer gets here...

So, any love? :D
 
Oh hell yeah! It's pretty much the perfect knife to me. Handle fits my hand great, light, well proportioned. I buy other stuff cuz it's cool, but the 510 is pretty much sufficient. I keep waiting for the custom makers to make a version, I'd snap it up.

The 510 was my favorite for a while (now second favorite). It's a great knife, but its handle has too many hotspots for me. The #1 replaced it when I got it, no hotspots, even more versatile handle, and no finger ramp (which I found got in the way a little), it's a little lighter to top it off too :D

lots of love for the 510 here, it was one of my got to blades for quite a while..I still keep a few in various kits.
 
I love it so much I made a sheath for it!

Lots of love. It's very good as far as Mora knives come. Extremely cheap, and it cuts well, and isn't too brittle. A lot of folks use these for fishing and hunting knives here, just because they're so cheap and disposable and yet rather effective.
 
Nothin' but love for the old 510. I dig the tri-flex, too. I bought one of those recently and carry it more than my RAT7, that might change if/when I buy that RC Izula I'm eyeballing from Two Wolves, though...

Anyhow, yeah. I preach Moras to my classes and the people I've taught.

There just is nothing not to love about the Mora 510 or any other Mora. That is unless they don't cost enough for some.;)

It was my go to knife, until I rehandled a 4" Mora in oak.
 
It and the clipper are my first (and only so far) Moras. I dig the functional simplicity of the 510, though I haven't used it enough yet to see if I get hotspots or anything. The 510 is in the car kit right now :)
 
Just bought a Mora 711 and love it, just need to get a leather sheath done up for it.
Might have to order a couple more for the ATV, Truck and tackle box !
 
I have a #1 and the 545 on the way. I believe the 545 is exactly the same as the 510, just with a stainless blade. How does the 545 hold up??

Might pick up a 510 as well, they seem like good knives to have around.
