Any love for the Odyssey?

The Buck Odyssey is one of my favorite Buck Knives. I never understood why it was not more popular I think it is a great one hander and love the blade shape. My Odyssey and my high school 110 are the only two Bucks that I have carried and used so much they were sent in to replace worn blades. BUCK is a great company and the customer service just makes me collect more Buck’s.

The only vintage Odyssey, a 182, I have, 1998, serrated, one liner (the liner lock), ATS-34 blade steel and solid steel backbone. A few photos for the thread:

Notice that the clip logo matches the logo in the background! :)

Killdeer (Charadrius vociferous) The bird that nests on gravel, i.e. roads, parking lots, roof tops, gravel bars, even rocky beaches, etc. It will give you the broken wing act trying to lead you away from its nest. vociferous says it also, go near its nest and it will become vocal......

I had to give nature talks in my younger days.

Thank you for the ID 300. Well done. And, as usual, many thanks for the vocabulary lesson. If it wasn't for the Buck forum I might just have to read in order make fresh deposits into my word bank.

And, I enjoyed the link to your old stomping grounds. Heavenly for my eyes. Tough job for a managerial type I imagine. Saw the newly hatched eaglet for the first time today at TNWLR. Exciting stuff for me. It has to be about three weeks old now. Thank time of year. Nature talks: Burned the candle at both ends and the middle did you! :) The volunteers and employees talk with real love for their subjects. They revel in their work and their enthusiast is contagious. Like they've struck pay dirt in the out of doors.

My two looked the same as those except they had the ATS-34 stamped on them instead of laser engraved. My buddy still carries his daily and probably needs a re-sharpening. I will look at it Monday to verify.
