Any love for the Saddle Trappers???

I failed to bond with my forum knife and traded it off. I do keep looking at the Northfields. The jury is still out for me. Part of the problem is that I have too many knives :p

I realy want GEC to make a sigle clip blade version...

Once you use that Wharnie on the Saddle Trapper you will be hooked! Its a size and shape that is useful for everything that I do...I miss mine.

I've been lusting after that one for a while now. I'm really trying to slow my knife purchases, and I'm also hoping that they make the same blade combo in a Missouri Trapper size.

One of my favorite patterns ever. Glad I traded into one, thanks again Mark!

I've been carrying my three knives for EDC lately, all GEC's (no, not all at the same time). White Owl, 15 jack and the BF 2012 trapper. I just got a 55 in trade, and now want to see GEC put out single blade 74's, with just the wharncliff blade.

question on the saddlehorns: how long are both blades? might want to get one it the cutting part of the blade is bigger than 2 1/2 for least on of the blades.

It is a beautiful knife no doubt. I could not get past the feel of the wharnie when it was closed. I would easily take a loss in blade length to sink it down further. I see the pics of the forum knife and I miss mine until I remember the feel of that blade. I would certainly entertain picking up another version down the road if GEC so happens to change it up to something I would use.

catfish.....

The blades are 3" so perfect,,,,,,and Mark 500 maybe is a lot 1000 might be to many but you never know until you get there.....

I can`t find the GEC #74 Saddle Trappers anywhere? I checked all my regular knifestores. I want to carry and use one, but the only one I got is the 2012 forum knife, and I don`t want to use that one yet.
