We all love our enduras, delicas and military's. But I don't see a lot of spyderco police models on here. I got this one with SS handles and full serrations about a year ago and it's been my main edc ever since! It's become one of my favorite folders. I love SS handled knives and the long, slim blade is great for large cutting chores and finer detailed cuts. Does anybody share my love for the police? If so I'd like to see yours

My first is on the way (thanks Craytab!). Just like yours. Reealy looking forward to trying it out.

Had this guy for 11 years

A fully serrated Police like yours is high on my list. I promise you, you'll see a picture in this thread eventually!

Nope. None whatsoever. ;)

I've had two Police II's (one plain edge, one full serrated) and two Police III's (second one is slightly reground and polished with a blended convex edge)...

Hmmm, now I think I need a police 3 :D the only thing I don't like on my police is the "POLICE" logo. Wish it was the the spyderco logo.

I love my police, carried it every day for about a year, but it was the knife that killed Spyderco for me... after about a year or so, the lock became useless, it'll fold like a case, I just can't trust it and because of that, I no longer trust Spyderco.... I've bought hundreds of knives since then, not a one is a spyderco product =o(

anyone else have lock bar issues with em?

Never had that happen. You should just call Spyderco's customer service. The knife is clearly abnormal and defective. They'll fix it or give you a new one.

Only Police I ever had was one of the Tufram coated aluminum handled models with a fully serrated blade. Sold it a long time ago as I am not a fan of serrated knives. Also owned an ATS-34 Military with a fully serrated blade. Also sold it for the same reason.

The Police is a great knife in the plain edge form. Bought my dad one many moons ago. He still has it and uses it to this day.

Picked up this one a while back. I've only carried it once or twice but may put it back in rotation. The scales are a little slippery and I might pick up the G-10 model but overall I've quite pleased with it.

Mine was the first step on a long journey towards some kind of pile...eh...collection! :) They were not cheap and quite exotic here in the land of the Moras back then. Bought this one some fifteen years ago if I remember corrrectly.

I don't even remember when I got mine nor how much I paid but it's been over 20 years and still locks up nice. It was the blade that made me dislike serrations.

I am unhappy to report that I have lost 2 of them over the years. I think that one of them went to the dump in an old sofa.

Anyone ever get the false edge at the top of the point sharpened? I've been thinking about it for a while but haven't pulled the trigger yet

2012 production, was New Old Stock from a dealer from just before the switch to tip up/down/L/R.

I prefer the classic tip down/right only. [emoji4]
