Any love for the Three Stooges?

I had one of these limited edition 3 stooges knives by EKA. I wish I would have kept it.

Larry and Curley shooting down Moe, who has floated away:

"Don't you know any better than to use a rifle? You might miss. Here, use this shotgun."

How about when they are flying their prototype airplane to avoid being drafted? Moe says, " boy this Buzzard sure is a honey!"

Hell yeah,love the stooges!

I remember when I was a wee lad living with my Great Aunt & Uncle and watching the Stooges after school.
Well, one friday at the end of the show the announcer says they'd be broadcasting the shows in color for the first time starting next week!
Boy was I was excited to see them in color! I couldn't wait to get home & watch 'em that Monday afternoon....

So imagine my disappointment when the show came on that Monday afternoon & they were still in Black & White!
I was pretty upset & confused and couldn't imagine why they'd lie to me like that until my Great Aunt explained that our TV was a Black & White set & you needed a color tv to see the shows broadcast in color.:(
Man was I pissed,I wanted to pull hair,poke eyes & knock heads!

My Great Uncle (bless his soul) was set in his ways & refused to buy one of those newfangled Color sets when the Black &
White set worked just fine.
I lived with them until I was in high school (early 70s) & they still had the same B&W set.

Nyuk,nyuk,nyuk.....

I feel you but I think the magic is somewhat lost when some shows switch to color... Andy Griffith for example. It just wasn't the same once they switched (plus Barney was gone).

I remember watching an episode of Green Acres... at the end, aliens turn the stove green... and a message comes on the screen "for those of you without color television sets, the stove has just turned green!" :D

I grew up watching them. Can't find them on tv anymore.

As a kid, I remember watching the Stooges and Benny Hill with my dad late at night. :p

You can find them on AMC from time to time. Usually on a Sunday morning.
I've also seen them on IFC on Saturday mornings

Thanks. I'll have to mark that down. Now thinking about it, I'm sure YouTube would have clips.

I still watch them when I catch them on TV. I'm not a big TV watcher, aside from news and some shows. I do enjoy watching old black & white shows, Vincent Price movies, Laurel & Hardy, and the 3 Stooges.
