Any makers in Kalamazoo, MI?

I was wondering if anyone knows any knifemakers in or near Kalamazoo, MI. I am curious because I am interested in making knives and would like to know if there is anyone else close I could talk to.

Go to Krause Publications, or www.amazon.com, and get a copy of the Krause book "Knives 2004". It's a publication that comes out every year, and in the back is listed every knifemaker that wants to be found. Listed both alphabetically, and by state. Names, addresses, #'s etc.

I'm in Holland, MI. I've made a fair number of knives with hand tools, but I wouldn't consider myself a "maker." I'm VERY part-time at the most, but you can ask as many questions as you want! Laredo 7mm makes great knives and he's in Allegan.
