Wouldn't mind finding an experienced maker in my area who's willing to give a few pointers to a noob :D

Trust me, the payment structure here is good. I've seen a forum pulled out from under the members by an acquisition company like Vertical Scope and it's an enormous bummer. BF, if I understand it correctly, is owned by one man that goes by Spark. These sites need money to run.

I need to re-up my Gold status, but I'll never be a non-paying member (nothing wrong with it of course).

I think anyone that spends time on (a lot of other) forums, then pokes around here for a while can see just how good we've got it. ;) :thumbup:
 
I'm sure you're right but I've been here quite a while as have you. I was absent for quite a while and I come back and there are a shit load of new rules and restrictions. just an observation
 
Im in Stockton and have a knife maker buddy on here that is in town as well. Also, Serge Panchenko is in Sac.
