New designs? Self-defense compact designs? Exotic steels? Wood handles? Bushcraft knives?

Just curious if there is any thread of hope that someone might let slip :)

i would like to see one too! i'm really interested in something like a Rat knife... or something with a storage compartment. been looking at what Kershaw has to offer but non really appeals to me...

According to The Kershaw Store, not sure if its legal to send a link to there, there is a few fixed blades coming out soon. One is the same as the Antelope Hunter but with an orange handle. The other is the Whiplash, designed by G & G Hawk. It is number 4355 and is 4.5" long. It looks to have been designed for combat troops. There is a pdf flyer you can look at on that store's website.

I wonder if we would get more info on the Whiplash if it had its own thread.

My picture would indicate that I do indeed still have both my ears. Not that I listen well...

:D

I wasn't talking about your ears. I was talking about your clothes! :D

Round two...

*DING DING*

Just you wait mister...

joe, i know brad a bit better than you i would think. Let me tell ya, he is just toying with you. You will never win. The beatings will continue until moral improves or brad gets bored :D There is only round two because the Don so chooses to let there be a round two. lol

*on topic, can someone post a pic or link of said PDF file?

ZeeTeeOhWonTooWon :)

I guess it's over 4 inches if you count the unsharpened part of the "non-handle"...I'd argue it was legal :D

try i'd like to be able to use it without the surrounding sheeple yelling "KNIFE KNIFE KNIFE!!!!!" and i get arrested. The one thing i dont like about the 0121, its to "tactical" to be used round sheeple, legal limit or not.

Get a Mora for $9 and have richardj "chop it down" for you. Problem solved :)

"Christ people it's only a paring knife"

In all honesty, I would like a 3in fixed blade myself...something of the "scaleless" variety like the Buck Kaala in a nice steel for ease of carry.

Ah, the Sidewinder. Original name for the Whiplash.
Blade thickness of .122 if I recall.
