Any nice new kershaw knives: Hard to keep up without a subforum

the kershaw steven seagal is one of the best kershaws ever made inmop. i love this knife so much. in fact, i am going to buy a second 1 asap, though i would still feel bad about using one and scuffing up that nice ray skin :o

sorry to disagree, but steven segal was a joke 15 years ago when he was actually doing bad movies. now he is beyond that.

this knife would be ok however without his silly signature

it doesnt matter how good or bad his movies were, the knife itself is awesome and high quality.

I don't think Jeremiah was commenting on the acting ability Mr. Seagal. In fact I see it nowhere in his post. If you have issues with Mr. Seagal, I'd suggest you take them up with him. And if you want to comment on the knife, tell us about your personal experiences with the one you own.

No offense meant. Sorry in any case.

I just had a visceral reaction to the silly branding on this knife, but the same goes true for the Harley Davidson, H&K, Bone Collector, Bear Grylls, etc knives from other manufacturers.

IMHO knives should be branded with the manufacturer and knife designer if a true collaboration, not some random name or logo just so a brand owner can make a few extra bucks from a fan.

I admit I can't comment on the knife - I'd never buy it with the name on the blade. My Kershaw Chive and three Kershaw Leeks are great. This one as a knife is probably great too.

No offense taken. And just as an fyi, Seagal designed that knife.

I read that Kershaw is releasing the Random Task II this year? Any truth to this an ETA? Thanks. :)

Yep, and it's one of my most anticipated designs for 2010!! Can't wait to get my hands on a couple dozen of these when the hit the street:thumbup:

I'm so late to this party, but in my short time with great knives, I've quickly realized that the top three makers of knives I'm interested in definitely include Kershaw. My first and only Kershaw is a SS Leek and I LOVE this knife. More Kershaws will certainly be coming my way. Living in the Portland, OR area, I'm thrilled that Kershaw is in my back yard!

I would love a Kershaw sub-forum... one more voice in the request.
