Any norwegians in here??????

I have understood the term viking to be rather similar to the term pirate.
My guess is that if you met an average Norwegian farmer back then and called him viking you would very soon meet his ax:)
I prefer the Helle edges over the Brusletto ones, and has never had any fall-apart-issues with Helle knives.
I got several Strømeng-knives and love them. The one who tend to follow me into the woods now is the 8" with finger guard.

I think you need to read up a bit on the subject. They were genteel sophisticates.

I know they was genteel sophisticates. But they was also known to be emotional, and a little touchy, sometimes.
I am just thinking that I lack enough recent experience with Brusletto knives, maybe I need one soon, just to try it out. Guess a diamond hone should maintain the edge in a satisfying way.

I really like my Brusletto Hunter, allthough the blade is a little thin after my liking it`s a good allround knife that I have with me when I take the kids out for a barbeQue in the woods..
