I am looking to buy a Evenheat but I am not sure what controller to get .Can any of you guys tell me the pros and cons between the Rampmaster controller and the Setpro controller? Thanks for your time.

The biggest difference is speed of input/programming. Ramp master is faster but set pro does the same thing with a few more steps. I have the ramp master and like it.

Thank you for the reply Nathan. From Evenheat's video it looks like if I was using the Setpro and I wanted to set to 1700* I might have to push the arrow up button 1699 times. That can not be,can it?

No, just hold down the up key and it will runup quick, you can set one in a couple of minuets once you get used to it. I've had mine about 6 years and it still works fine.

Stan , If you were to buy a 2nd oven would you get another Setpro controller or a Rampmaster? Do you think one controller is more durable than the other? Have you had any problems with your Evenheat in those 6 years?

If you can scrounge the extra coin for the Rampmaster do it. It is very easy to use. When you start using it you won't be thinking of the cost.

I have not had a single problem with my Evenheat. If I buy another kiln it will be an Evenheat,on the controllers I can't say one is more durable than the other and I guess it would come down to cash on hand. Rampmaster has more bell and whistles (and who doesn't like that:D) but I know the SetPro will do the job.
