Any of you switching FROM guns?

I flipped from guns to knives myself. How many Glocks can you have? A few more I guess. Knives are more PC you can show them to folks and get them in the mail. Lot more to choose from and people aren't so defensive of their "brand" unlike the handgun group can be.

Easier to open a box with a knife then a .40 cal Glock Ha Ha.

I began life as a gun type with way "too many". Then got all wrapped up in knives. And have now equilibrated to just slightly more than I "need" of each.
Although I just discovered that I can sell all kinds of worthless household crap on eBay and spend it on guns and knives. I've been sending worthless crap all over the world the past 2 weeks. My Pay Pal account is at about $1000 from totally worthless crap. I'll be searching the house this weekend for more worthless crap.

I'm going the other way...been collecting knives for the past three years and I finally took the steps to get my gun licence...ordered my first gun today...a Benelli M4!!!

I seem to spend to much time a money on both. I concentrate on guns for a while then it's back to knives. Sometimes watchs and coins. I could never give up ethier guns or knives. I cold give up on the coins. And could cut my watch collection down to 10 or so. But that's about it. I got to have my hobbies!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guns knives, knives guns. Ever notice how all boy toys pretty much cost the same??!!

That question is like asking which child you like the best.... there really is no answer.

However, I have not acquired a new gun in quit along time, but I have acquired several new (used and new) knives in the past several months.

Since I don't do any hunting anymore because of expensive leases, cleaning the dang kills and then having no one in my family like to eat it, I find that collecting knives is an enjoyable hobby.

Plus, it keeps me at home because I want to play with my knives and cut stuff. My wife keeps bugging me about all my guns and knives. I just smile and tell her I could spend my money on guns and knives or women and booze....she did not find it funny. I just tell her with my hobbies she always knows where I am at, by my safe fondling a gun or knife.

Well, happy cutting, shooting and buying.

I used to be into guns only, then I got into knives, and gun buying has seemed to fall behind pretty quick. I still buy a gun from time to time, knives ALL the time. Knives are just the ticket for someone who wants to carry their hobby with them all the time, IMHO.
