As to the specs that drop point has a 5.5" OAL length. Pitdog has one and post about his quite a bit.

Caleb, is there a perticular reason you want a small folder for a back up survival knife?

The reason I ask is that you can get a small hand made fixed blade knife like this for that price

Or if you do not like clip points a drop point might be more to you liking.

I 2nd the Svord Peasant knife. Simple,tough,one handed opening and it looks neat.--KV
 
If you want a more beefy inexpensive folder look into Byrd. They are pretty well made and the working man's line from spyderco
