Any one else start disposing of alot of their other knives once they got the CRK bug?

Yes, I sold a few to fund the first sebenza which was a small because the small could replicate the role of those 3 knives in one knife. I still rotate everything after thinning the herd to about a dozen EDC-worthy blades not counting any traditionals or SAKs. I have a BM 940 in my pocket today as a matter of fact. Variety is the spice of life.

I have given away many knives (including one of the first run Umnumzaans). I rarely ever sell a knife, and never do so because I feel like I found "the one".

All my knives hold special value to me, while the "lesser" knives may see little to no pocket time anymore, they are still great...and when I gift them, it really means something!

That is a great way to be Unit and I am sure your generosity is appreciated very much. I have given away 3 so far but typically I sell them to fund another purchase. I have only been doing this for about 5 years so for me the earlier knives helped me to understand quality and also establish a criteria. I am a little better at knowing what I will like now so I tend to buy fewer knives but with a better understanding of what I am getting. I have realised that I like simple and I like quality, in that respect CRK is hard to beat.

I've mainly switched to CRK as well for my primary blades. But I do also carry a strider SNG pretty regularly. I use my Sng to beat on and abuse, and my crks for everything else.

I sold some knives after I picked up my first Small Sebenza primarily because I made the decision to carry only lightweight folders. The Sebenza was an early pick because I needed a folder that could serve as the standard reference model for my new collection. In that capacity, it has served me admirably and continues to do so. Since then I've purchased a second Small Sebenza as well as several William Henrys, a number of customs, and some knives that aren't as well made as the Sebenza but fill different niches in my collection.

You should have got a large, there are lots of knives I like more than the small Sebenza as well. :p
Oh I've had a large. There are lots of big folders I like better than that one. That's why I don't own one anymore.:D
