Looking to buy this knife http://www.knifehog.com/p-2907-ka-b...PCadwrds12kh&gclid=CMyuvO_11rECFQP0nAodCR8AWQ but never dealt with this seller. His price seems to be to cheap and the knife he shows here is a stock photo of some sort. It is not the BK-16 as described. The Bk-16 should be flat ground but then again I have seen other sellers using this stock picture. So I'm thinking of staying away. Any one with experience with Knifehog chime in please. I use the knives when forming Kydex and saving a few bucks is great but not if it gonna be a problem. Thanks, Ken

I ordered my Spyderco Gayle Bradley through them, cheapest I could find on the interwebs. No complaints. Shipped quick and was exactly what I ordered.

I just checked out their gayle bradley, thats one heck of a good price, if they are a good retailer I'll be looking into buying a gb from them sometime soon

I emailed them last night about the grind on the blade on the knife I am thinking about and so far no reply.

Two days now still no response. Tried one more time. Lets see what happens. Cheap prices may suggest lousy customer service.

Well finally got a response from him. Not only does he not know what he is selling (2 possibilities as to the blade profile) but he wont even physically look to see which one he has. Staying away from this one.

Sometimes saving a few dollars isn't worth the amount sheer stress and frustration that will come from a deal like this. Most want to buy an item and move along with their lives, onto the next knife. This kind of reminds of the stupidity exhibited by the BladeShop. You want to talk about lack of common sense and service, that is the model.

I don't always need the lowest price on everything, I'm not that much of a penny pinching miser. If I can get my purchase from a well known and reliable shop, that is enough for me to leave a happy customer. Also, doing whatever bit of business helps the good shops keep the lights on.

I would suggest proceeding with caution. Here they are selling either a Buck Alpha Hunter or a Becker BK15. Your guess is as good as mine.

I just got off the phone with my credit card company after trying unsuccessfully to get my money refunded from KnifeHog on an item they charged me for but then claimed they didn't have in stock.

I know this is an old thread but wanted to give my .02

I just made my first purchase from knifehog. Ordered two knives and a Spyderco sharpmaker. The price was very competitive and there were no issues with shipment. Communication was very good as they provided shipping info and followed up with an e-'mail. Also followed up after shipment to ensure there were no issues.

Overall was a very pleasant experience.

I Also would like to throw my opinion out there. I just ordered a Puma Skinner (German Made) through knifehog. I received the correct product in a timely manner at a good price.
